a lie is when someone asks you a question, and you intentionally tell them the wrong answer (misleading them)

the truth is a known fact, or when someone asks you a question, and you tell them a correct answer, or what really happened.

a lie and withholding the truth are 2 separate things though, correct? I believe they are.

withholding the truth is not telling someone or someones something that happened, but that someone or those someones never asked what happened

and where does secrets fall in with all of this, I would think a secret is withholding the truth about something, or someone, However you are not lieing to anyone by holding that secret, are you? and weren't secrets meant to be withheld from others ears? that's why they are secrets afterall

these were just some thoughts that may eventually involve into something greater than all of this, hopefully it does, b/c I have a lot of opinions and feelings about these 3 subjects that all intertwine with each other
